  • Exciting match ends in 3-2 defeat

    Cwmtawe 2, Milford Haven 3

A closely contested match, with the action end-to-end!

Cwmtawe goals were scored by Ffion Evans from open play and Lydia Tibbet via a penalty corner deflection!

We came close to equalising in the last 3 minutes of the game after winning a penalty corner, but it wasn't meant to be :-(

Our thanks to Milford for a friendly and exciting game, we're all looking forward to a fun return match after Christmas!

  • Sorry it's been so long!

Hi everyone, sorry, long time, no blog!

    Just to update you...

We're currently sitting 3rd in the league! Yey!

    Here's what's happened so far...

Game 1, Abergavenny at home - 2-0 to us!

Game 2, Pembroke away - 0-2 loss, but we did only have 10 players, plus Gemma suffering a head injury took us down to 9 before the second goal :-(

    Game 3, Bridgend 2nd XI away - a fantastic 8-0 win! Hoorray!

We also played Whitchurch Saints1st XI at home in the 1st round of the Welsh Shield... it was a close game... but we lost... 15-0! Oh well, they are 3 divisions above us! Better luck next year!

    Full match reports to follow...

  • Calling all juniors!

Your next fixture is this Sunday, the 23rd October, at Carmarthen.

We have a 24 seater coach booked, so if your fan club want to come along too, they are more than welcome!

The bus leaves Neath Sports Centre (astro turf) at 9am and will get you back at about 2.30/3pm. The whole day will cost you just £10 too!

Don't forget, bring warm and waterproof clothes, all your playing gear (gumshield, stick and shinpads). We'll provide you with the playing kit.

You'll need lunch and drinks too - we'll be there a while!

    See you Sunday! :-)

Don't forget - you can get some great coaching over half term at Powys' Stix and Stars sessions - full details are on the Junior page - get in touch quickly... spaces are limited!
